YOGA BASICS - Learn how to use your breath, your body and your mind in yoga. This program that offers a firm grounding in a multitude of yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditative techniques promoting greater self-awareness.
GENTLE YOGA - A PEACFUL RESTORATIVE JOURNEY This course starts with basic level exercises and progress at a gentle pace. You will learn yoga postures that stretch and revitalize your body, as well as breath and relaxation exercises to release physical and mental tension. Gentle Yoga generally improves your general and alertness and gives you an overall sense of well-being and peace. No matter what your age or fitness level, this yoga is a powerful antidote to the stresses of modern life.
RESTORATIVE YOGA A comfortable, nurturing, restful practice that brings renewed vitality through gentle body stretching and deep, thorough, releasing of tension. This is a program of basic level postures and focused breathing that moves at a gentle pace, toning your body and renewing your spirit. Calming, soothing and balancing, this yoga is excellent for beginners and all ages ? for everyone who wants an accessible and deeply relaxing program. Great for relieving chronic stress.
CLASSIC YOGA FOR ALL LEVELS - AN INDIVIDUAL APPROACH With this style of yoga, you will be encouraged to explore basic postures and beyond, working at your own level of intensity. This is Hatha yoga plus Pranayama (breathing exercises) and Meditation. Hatha Yoga is the practice of physical postures that stretch, strengthen and tone the entire body, increasing overall vitality, flexibility, balance, endurance and circulation. The breathing exercises and meditation calm the nervous system, bringing harmony, peace and renewed energy to body, mind and spirit. This yoga is a complete practice for personal development, promoting mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
YOGA FOR ALL LEVELS WITH VIPASSANA This is a yoga practice at your individual level, exploring basic to intermediate postures that increase overall fitness, flexibility, strength and balance. You?ll also learn various breathing techniques to deepen your practice and release tension. As well as the benefits of Hatha Yoga practice, this class will also feature aspects of Vipassana ? an insight meditation technique that encourages self-transformation through self-observation. You will strengthen your body and renew your energy - heighten mental awareness and refresh your spirit. YOGA - PILATES COMBO A dynamic and fully integrated exercise program for the mind and body. Yoga-Pilates brings you the best of both worlds: Yoga for flexibility and increased vitality PLUS a Pilates workout to build strength and power in your centre core. Both systems focus on alignment to re-balance the body and controlled breathing for deeper awareness and peace of mind. You will improve your posture, muscle tone, strength and endurance, and come away with an expanded sense of well being. For those who want an active practice. No previous yoga or pilates experience required.
YOGA FOR STRESS Take charge of the stress in your life and learn how to release it for better health, increased vitality and energy. This course will combine modern stress management theory with the ancient practice of Yoga. Through Yoga exercises you will learn how to stretch and breathe deeply to release toxic physical tension. As well you will be given a ?tool kit? of information and techniques to help you manage your stress on a day to day basis. You will also learn various meditation and visualization methods that will help you release mental tension by quietening the mind.
YOGA AND MEDITATION Stretch your body and your mind. In this yoga course you will learn classical yoga postures and meditation techniques that bring peace of mind. Regular meditation is relaxing, lowers blood pressure, promotes clear thinking, increases the ability to concentrate and is a path to greater self awareness. Combined with Hatha yoga, it is a deeply calming practice that will renew your body and mind.
MEDITATION - MOVING INTO STILLNESS Meditation is a powerful relaxation tool with therapeutic benefits of releasing tension, lowering blood pressure and increasing the ability to cope with stress. Meditation is also a path to deeper self awareness. This course will explore in depth various relaxation methods and meditation techniques. It can serve as a course on it own or in combination with another yoga program.
LEVEL III - A CHALLENGING PRACTICE
FITNESS FUSION YOGA Challenge yourself physically and mentally with a vigorous series of postures that integrates balancing, strengthening, stretching and breathing. Experience a total workout combining aerobic movements from Kundalini yoga with the deep stretching and strengthening of Power Yoga's intermediate to advanced postures. This very active Yoga also focuses Yoga/Pilates core strengthening and meditative inversions. Add pranayama, the yoga science of breath control, and you have an exhilarating practice that focuses on body alignment, self-discipline, concentration and endurance. It's cleansing, energizing and designed to promote fitness. It is a very rewarding Yoga style. You will be encouraged to work at your maximum intensity level and you will learn a wide variety of postures in this course. No previous yoga experience required but be prepared to sweat.
YOGA VINYASA A FLOWING MOVEMENT OF BODY AND BREATH For advanced students and those who have been practising yoga for a minimum of one year and have knowledge of a full range of Asanas and Pranayama. Yoga Vinyasa combines a vigorous flowing series of yoga postures with continuous yoga breathing. Experience meditation in motion within a practice that is mentally and physically challenging.

CHAKRA VINYASA YOGA Yoga is a path to holistic health because it is energy work as well as beneficial body exercise. In this class you will learn Yoga that focuses on the chakras or energy centres of the body with the intention of liberating and balancing your body?s energy for greater health and vitality. Explore the chakras through asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) as well as chanting and meditation. Revitalize your body, mind and spirit.
PATH TO ENLIGHTENMENT Based on the ancient Eight-fold path of Yoga described by the sage Patanjali, these classes will include philosophy instruction essential to yoga practice as well as advanced postures, advanced breathing and meditation.
CULTIVATING THE SPIRIT - Based on the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, this course is designed to deepen your knowledge of yoga philosophy and explore your place within it. What is consciousness and how does yoga serve to expand it? What is your purpose and your relationship to the forces at work in the universe? What is the key to transformation? Enter a dialogue that is a journey of self-discovery.
THE SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE OF YOGA Disciplining the body through Hatha Yoga, this course, based on the teachings of Swami Radha, explores the deeper meaning in yoga postures, interpreting the asanas as symbols with psychological and spiritual significance in order to gain new insights into the self. As well, you will learn BKS Iyengar?s alignment points for a series of 12 poses. Recommended reading: The Hidden Language of Yoga by Swami Sivananda Radha.
KUNDALINI CONSCIOUSNESS Find a deeper meaning in your yoga practice with Kundalini Yoga, the yoga of awareness. Kundalini embodies an ancient philosophy and practice designed to awaken your potential by opening up the flow of energy and consciousness that exists within you. Kundalini yoga stimulates the body?s seven psychoenergetic centres, the Chakras, and the life force that moves through them. Program includes kundalini philosophy instruction, postures and breathing exercises, chanting and meditation.
